Trim Potentiometer

The trimmer potentiometer is a compact version of a standard potentiometer designed for occasional adjustment. It has three terminals and works on the same principle as a normal potentiometer, where a movable wiper changes resistance along a resistive track. Trimmers are commonly used to set reference values such as voltage levels, sensitivity, contrast, or gain during testing or calibration of circuits.
