DIY Power Bank
A DIY power bank kit (Type-C, no battery) is a power bank case + charger/boost circuit that lets you build your own portable charger by adding your own batteries. These kits include the enclosure, USB-C port(s), power management circuit (often with PD/QC support), and sometimes a display or protection board — but batteries are not included.
DIY power bank kits are ideal for electronics enthusiasts who want full control over capacity, battery quality, and performance. Instead of buying a finished power bank, you assemble the components yourself by installing your own rechargeable cells (most commonly 18650 Li-ion cells). The built-in circuitry handles charging, boosting to 5 V (and often fast-charge protocols), and safety protection.
